A few full stops and less paragraph long sentences would make this much, much easier to read.

The transition from sacrifice to inferiority happens after the transition from the Bronze Age to the Iron Age in the Mediterranean region. That was accompanied by a massive depopulation. The Iliad mentions a disease from "Apollo of the rats". Perhaps that explains the religious transition?

Excellent summary! If you ever feel like collaborating on a project that encompasses this subject i will jump-in. It is such a subject some years back ( before discovering SS ) that i imagined every detail of a lengthy series of documentary style films, including interviews, rationales of the greatest thinkers of our time, modern liturgical traditions and theology versus ‘what carbon-dating suggests’, legends versus mythology, and blood-line stories versus the most ancient of traditions of who i consider ‘my people’.

I’m offering to collaborate and there are others among those i ‘follow’ here and on Gab Social who would be just as enthusiastic.

Just putting that out there…aetherially and sincerely.

The silence you feel isn't emptiness; it’s the collapse of your social prison. You didn't lose your identity—you just lost a job title. You are 12,000 years late to this existential panic, so stop treating your doubts like a modern disease. The ancient stone pillars and ruined tombs already carry your questions. Don't look for answers. Just enjoy the load-bearing capacity of your own doubt.

Interesting idea and references, but almost incomprehensible - and self-contradictory in places - due to a lack of editing. It may be that English is not the author’s first language, but a more accurate translation is needed.
