Painting in the dark zone across major societal changes for 1,500 years is profound. It’s heartening to know Indigenous elders are involved in interpreting these sacred stories, even as the conversation around site preservation continues. Great piece!

How do the Osage explain painting pictures in the dark zone? Because the Ice Age artists did the same thing.
